Hey everyone....
I've been on holiday - I spent a wonderful week at the coast (where it rained almost every day ... but was relaxing nonetheless).
Once again, and as usual, I'm way behind on my inbox (deviations & journals etc), and I would like to thank everyone for all the fav's I've received in the last month - there are just too many now to go & thank individually.
Work is as busy as ever, although things are not going very well. My company is downsizing and retrenching more than half the staff complement. Fortunately, I still have my position (for now).

I haven't even thought about photography lately on account of being so busy at work, and also studying for a post-graduate degree part-time. However, I did try some sunrise shots at the beach while on holiday. I must say it's not as easy as those amazing photographers make it look. I'm amazed I even got up before sunrise!!
I'm also happily in love at the moment - something I'm really happy about because it's been like forever.... hahaha

Have you ever found that you become so worried about the technical stuff (photography) instead of just being creative and taking the shot?
I think that's been my problem lately. I keep worrying about how the shot with the result that I land up taking no photos. I think I should go back to just being creative, and forget about the technicalities (as I'm sure it'll come out as I go along anyway).

I wish I had more time... lol
And it's getting bloody cold here in Jo'burg.
I think that about sums it up for the last month (and probably for the next month too.. hehehe

).
Keep well everyone! hugs & stuff!!

an old fashioned rhyme for you on your special day
Monday's child is fair of face.
Tuesday's child is full of grace.
Wednesday's child is loving and giving.
Thursday's child works hard for a living,
Friday's child fears no foe.
Saturday's child has far to go.
And Sundays child is bonny and wise in every way.
